The facilities in the room were all new and clean.
They did not provide me with a parking place near the hotel. In fact this parking is not at all convenient : you need to go up the hill to reach it and then up and down the hill all around the town to leave it because there are works nearby. It is quite dangerous if you are not a mount racer. It is more convenient to use the big parking below for payment and another hotel to visit Assisi

The view was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable with good bed linen and the bathroom was nice with good towels. The TV had BBC world which was handy. There was a wonderful lounge area with comfortable leather sofas where one could relax with a book and enjoy spectacular views all around. There was one very helpful staff member on reception but unfortunately we can't remember his name but think it began with either G or J.
Instead of a full a la carte menu being available we were told only two starters and two main courses were available - both of which were meat and I don't eat meat. We were not told this when we made a dinner reservation and were only told when we sat down to eat. We believe this was due to an American tour group staying at the hotel and ordinary guests took second place. It ruined our last meal in Italy. We had no bathrobes in either room and some of the little extra products were missing from one of our rooms but were in the other room. At breakfast the dining room was very very cold and the breakfast was basic. Tea and Coffee were from a machine and so you had to keep going back for another cup. A coffee pot or tea pot would be better.

Central location was a plus. Again, it was near a vast hillside church. My twin room had central heating, an individual safe, and multi-channel TV. The breakfast was enjoyable and with breathtaking views on the valley of Assisi.
The staff - some of them were not very welcoming.

Comfortable and absolutely fabulous place with a GLORIOUS view. Enjoyable breakfast, airy queen room. Beautiful bathroom, and a laptop safe, a minibar, and central heating. Lovely dishes, central location in the historical center of Assisi. And near to all relevant sites, Umbria and central square of Assisi.

Excellent location and one of the few hotels in Assissi with parking facilities. Extremely good staff. Beautiful valley view from room and restaurant.
Would have liked more powerful air conditioning. Outside temperature was +35 C.

Hotel Giotto is a family owned hotel, with the class of a four star hotel but also the feeling to be home. The vue from our rooms was a dream, the food was incredible, the employees were so welcome that we thought we could ask for the moon and the owners were always very nice and willing to help. It was extremely difficult to leave this place. A part of our heart will stay there and we will come back very soon in this gorgeous Umbria and stay for sure in Hotel Giotto because now we know what we will receive !
Nothing. Impossible to find anything that was not simply perfect. Henry and Lucia

We enjoyed our stay, especially the fine views from the terrace where we watched the sunset with my brother. The outdoor seating area was a perfect spot for our family, and the location made it easy to explore Assisi's beautiful sights.
My children wanted a mini-fridge stocked daily for drinks.

The spa was not worth the money. Though the massage was fine, the spa water was cold. In addition, we were told that with a spa treatment we were able to use the other spa features but that ended up not being the case.

Amazing views and cozy vibes
What a great spot! We loved the fine views of the valley from our room. The staff was super friendly, and the dining area had a nice cozy feel. Only thing was the bar fridge was way too small and barely cold. Still, overall, a lovely experience in a beautiful place!
